BIOBANK INDIA FOUNDATION CANCER CARE (BBIFCC)
BBIFCC is an initiative of the Biobank India Foundation (BBIF), a not-for-profit organization established in 2021, dedicated to advancing healthcare research through biobanking. BBIFCC is committed to reducing the burden of cancer by offering free cancer education, screening, patient support services, and financial assistance to those in need. It also supports research and publications in the field of oncology.
BBIFCC strives to improve healthcare access for underserved populations in remote areas through awareness and outreach programs. Its mission is to eliminate cancer through a comprehensive approach—from awareness to research—making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

India has estimated 14,00,000 new cancer cases detected every year. By 2040 this Number is projected to 20,00,000. Oral cancer, Breast cancer and Cervical cancer are the three most common types of cancer.
The cancer is continuing to increase in India, one in nine people are likely to develop cancer in his/her lifetime.
Educate people about the key risk factors, since more than 30% of cancer cases could be prevented by modifying lifestyle or avoiding the risk factors.
Inform people about the importance of regular screening and check-ups. Inform women about mammograms, clinical breast exam and breast self-exam.
